We’ve been involved in a lot of charity work
Over the past few months, we’ve been proud to support several charity events, including the recent Fundación Olivares charity golf day at Miraflores Golf Club.
The atmosphere at the event was fantastic, with plenty of smiles throughout the day, and there was even more reason to celebrate thanks to the nearly €11,000 raised for the children’s cancer charity. It was a brilliant event in support of an incredible cause.
Congratulations to everyone involved, and a special thank you to Gilly and Louisa at Horizon Currency for your superb organisation. We truly appreciated the invitation, and you can count on us to be back next year!
We were also delighted to support the Walk for Life charitable event in Almería. Walk for Life is a voluntary group dedicated to supporting local people affected by cancer, and this year’s walk in April saw more than 500 participants getting involved.
It was a wonderful community event, with people of all ages and nationalities taking part. Some were in fancy dress, others had children in pushchairs, dogs by their side, or colleagues alongside them.
We were proud to sponsor David from Almería Radio, who not only took part in the walk but also helped bring the day to life by organising some of the entertainment.
We’re now offering free, downloadable guides – with plenty more to come!
We’re excited to share that we now offer free downloadable guides, each packed with in-depth insights on key financial planning topics.
So far, we’ve published three:
- Financially preparing to leave the UK – with plenty of useful tips even for those of you who have already moved abroad.
- The power of compounding – find out everything you need to know about the financial topic that has been called “the eighth wonder of the world”.
- The value of financial planning – unpack the facts, figures, and stories that explain how and why financial planning can be so valuable.
These are just the beginning, and there are many more guides on the way. Keep an eye out for future releases.
We teamed up with Entre Trámites to help people moving to Spain
Entre Trámites is a firm dedicated to helping people moving to Spain manage the often complex bureaucracy and paperwork that comes with relocation.
We’ve recently partnered with them to provide financial support to their clients, while also being able to refer our clients who need expert help with documentation or administrative processes.
They’ve also published this helpful article on taxation in Spain, sharing financial tips and an overview of what newcomers need to know.
We visited a local community hub to offer free advice for expats
We recently held a day of free one-to-one sessions at Torrox Hub, supporting local expats living in Spain with their financial questions.
The response was fantastic, appointments filled up quickly and the event was busy throughout.
We’re planning to run more of these sessions in the future. Follow our social media channels for upcoming dates.
