In these updates, we’ll keep you informed with all the latest news from Ambient, explain how we’re developing, and introduce anything exciting that’s coming up in the future.
As this is our inaugural release, we’d like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the firm, as well as sharing what we’ve been up to recently and giving you a glimpse of what’s on the horizon.

Our values are shaped by where we’ve come from
Ambient Wealth was born when founder Josh Williams chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and embark on a career in the financial services.
For more than a decade, Josh worked with both boutique and large financial firms across the UK and Europe, gaining expertise in financial planning in several different countries.
During his time in corporate firms, Josh saw first-hand how clients’ best interests were often overlooked in favour of short-term gains.
Determined to do things differently, Josh established Ambient in 2023 in southern Spain. He started with a clear mission: to give clients greater flexibility, choice, and control over their financial futures.
His experience in the corporate world developed his dedication to a holistic, client-first approach that considers not just finances, but every aspect of a person’s life and long-term goals.
At Ambient, he champions a long-term, legacy-focused approach, helping all his clients build wealth not just for themselves, but for future generations.
Although Ambient is still in its early stages, we’ve hit the ground running and have developed a niche clientele with expatriate residents living across Europe, but particularly in Spain.
We’re growing our online presence
After setting up less than two years ago, we had a fantastic first year, building a strong client base and delivering the personalised financial guidance we set out to provide.
As the business grows, we know that clear and consistent communication is more important than ever. We’re committed to maintaining regular contact with all our existing and prospective clients every step of the way.
So, we’re now focused on expanding our communications and online presence – starting with this very newsletter! In addition to our quarterly updates, we’ll be launching Ambient on various social media platforms in March, sharing regular tips, insights, and industry updates to keep followers informed.

Ambient is on the radio
In addition to growing our online presence, Ambient is now making waves on the radio!
Josh has teamed up with Almeria Radio and presenter David Wright for a live segment every Friday afternoon called “Finance Friday”.
Each week, Josh will share valuable financial tips, covering everything from budgeting and savings strategies to investment advice and retirement planning. The segment is also a chance to engage directly with the local community, answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering expert insights to help listeners make informed financial decisions.
This partnership is not only a great opportunity to connect with the listeners, but it also allows us to spread the word about Ambient Wealth.
We’re excited to use this opportunity to reach more people and offer advice that empowers them to take control of their financial futures, no matter where they are in their journey.
We’re hiring
As Ambient continues to grow, we’re excited to expand our team.
We’ve recently welcomed a new accounts manager on board and are looking forward to further strengthening our team in the months ahead. We’re planning to bring on additional staff, including:
- An administrative support role
- A business development manager
- One to two advisers that we can train and develop.
While we’re committed to building steadily, we’re also focused on ensuring that each new hire is a perfect fit for our culture, helping us maintain the high standards of service that have defined Ambient from the start.
